There will be no change to staff contracts for staff employed in JISC infoNet, JISC Legal, JISC Netskills, JISC Procureweb, JISC TechDis or TASI. They will continue to be based in their host institutions and on their existing terms and conditions. A small core of staff from the JISC Executive will transfer to JISC Services. In the longer term there are likely to be better opportunities for career development as a result of being part of a larger organisation. The ethos of JISC Services is to remain embedded in the communities it serves – it achieves this via its relationship with the host institutions and there is no indication that this will change in the foreseeable future.
